   This is an absolutely top class jewellery box. This one is the biggest I could find on the market and fits a tremendous amount of jewellery in it. I have seen similar boxes in the shops but often the finish is dubious with the leather not properly attached. None of that here. The faux croc skin leather is beautifully applied. Every ounce of the box is either suede or leather. There are no unsightly gaps where you can see any finishing. The hinges are beautifully incorporated into the sides. The hinges and lock are chromed metal.

   The box arrived excellently packaged by Amazon so there was not a mark on it. The box itself is made of black matt leather with the croc pattern applied. The inside is cream suede that the makers assure you is tarnish proof. I have not had it long enough to test. In the lid is a mirror than can be pulled forwards to store necklaces on hooks, with a suede pouch to put the pendants in so they hang correctly. The main compartment has slots for many rings and necklaces. The box also contains 2 travel boxes that slide in as drawers. One contains the area for pierced ear rings. These boxes close with press studs and again are very nicely made. Most compartments in the box contain suede covers to stop air getting to the contents. Again these are nicely made, padded and suede and fit exactly.

   There are 2 further drawers, the top one for necklaces, with a circular area in the centre and long rectangular slots on the sides and the other drawer is for watches and also has many compartments for assorted stuff.

   The only thing I could fault on the box is that the bottom drawer is sometimes a little tricky to get out as it sometimes catches on the front flap of the box. It just requires a little care taking in and out. But it is not enough to mark the box down for.

   This jewellery box looks great on the dressing table. It irradiates quality and is very well made. Yes, it is expensive, but the materials, look and manufacture I think justify the price. I would recommend it.
